Sung Mok Jung is a photographer and visual artist based in Paris. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Photography at Paris 8 University, his work has evolved from an initial documentary style toward a more conceptual exploration of the flat surface of the image and the possibilities it offers.

He often employs the technique of superimposition to create images that resist linear interpretation and invite a dialogue between visibility and disappearance, surface and depth. Through a metaphotographic approach, he seeks to question the very act of seeing and to explore how multiple realities can coexist within a single image.
